On the first Thursday of every month the Dash Arabic Series continues the company’s international outlook with a commission of four major projects by artists from the Arab world, supported by an ongoing series of performances, talks, films, events and outreach work. It will be an homage to Oum Kalsoum (the Egyptian legend would broadcast her songs live across the Arabic world on the first Thursday of every month). Tonight’a guest Abdelkader Saadoun, self-proclaimed Algerian king of playing rock-n rai!

A regular DJ at the famous club Wag throughout its 18 years, Chris Sullivan has since played at almost every hip club in the capital while popping up behind the decks at numerous art, film and fashion parties.  He will be joined by Spencer Mac who helped start the Trip Hop movement and was involved with Eddie Pillar on Acid Jazz.
