TO MEZCLAO
Pop (Cuba)
To’ Mezclao - meaning “all mixed up” - is a seven-strong crew of music enthusiasts whose versatility (and danceability) knows no bounds. Fronted by the doe-eyed singer Yoandri “El Conejo” Castro, with project founder DJ Lyng Chang on decks and sisters Yusi and Yonaiky González on flute and keyboards, To’Mezclao spark mass hysteria wherever they perform! _

SHEIKA ZEINAB
Trance (Egypt/Sudan)
Egyptian Kodia (Zar leader) Sheikha Zainab returns to Momo to perform a hypnotic evening of Egyptian/Sudanese trance music featuring ceremonial Tanbura lyres and Electrified Simsimiyyia harps accompanied by ritual percussionists and master drummers.

MOSI CONDE
String & Percussion Orchestra (Guinea Conakry)
Mosi Conde is a griot and kora player from Guinea Conakry.  Sekouba ‘Diamond Fingers’ Diabate is his maternal uncle and he is closely related on his father’s side to Mory Kante - who welcomed him on stage at Fairfield Halls recently. Much in demand to play with every leading African band, Mosi now introduces KAIRA KORA AFRIKA, his own matchless crew drawing in superb fellow musicians on Bolon, Balafon, Guitar, Tamba (Fulani Flute) and percussion. Mosi’s own irresistibly danceable compositions are coming from his strong traditional background but with an urban edge. Groovy!

STEVEN SOGO
Blues (Burundi)
His music is pure, original blues: his songs are a cry for life, full of pain and hope at the same time, just a mirror of Burundian society these days. He takes traditional rhythms and tunes, rearranges and modernizes the so far little known Burundian cultural heritage. One of the most promising musician in the Burundian music scene.
